Axie Blitz: Candy Crush inspired game built within Axie Infinity
Fast-paced multiplayer Candy Crush style game, but it’s in Axie Infinity? Yup, and its name is Axie Blitz!
Sky Mavis’ Builder’s Program, an innovation that supports the creativity of Axie’s adoring community, allows people to create games within the ecosystem of their cherished game. Axie Blitz is one of the most recent innovations to emerge from this fantastic platform.
The game intends to release Ranked Games and a method to collect Smooth Love Potion tokens for Axie owners through competitive games using various abilities and strategic maneuvers when playing the game.
Binance US plans lists The Sandbox’s $SAND
Binance listed The Sandbox’s token $SAND for trading on its exchange earlier this week.
The Sandbox is a blockchain-based game that allows players to build, own, and monetize their gaming experience within their metaverse. $SAND, known as The Sandbox’s utility token, is best known as the foundation for all of their interactions and transactions, particularly in their marketplace and platform governance.
What a thrilling time to watch how investors and players respond to Binance’s listing choice, which will undoubtedly be advantageous to both the team running The Sandbox and its users.
Blankos Block Party’s first season has commenced
Leaving early access on Epic, Blankos Block Party has now started its first season!
Blankos Block Party, the first Web3 game to appear on the Epic Games Store, is a free-to-play multiplayer title that integrates blockchain ownership and rewards incentives by playing. Since then the game has come far and now has more content and updates than ever.
Blankos’ team recently announced a partnership with Toho to include playable Blankos that resemble Godzilla, Mothra, and Mecha-Godzilla meant as a festive start by including iconic monsters in the game.
Star Atlas joins the Epic Games Store
Epic Games is known to be open to blockchain-based games, as it recently welcomed a well-known name in the space, Blankos Block Party.
Following that, Star Atlas, an immersive space adventure and grand strategy MMO that uses blockchain technology to give real-world ownership of assets, has now joined the Epic Games Store.
Adoption of blockchain-based games by names like Epic is unquestionably advantageous in the long term, and Star Atlas is unquestionably a great pick to add on for onboarding more people into the technology.
Sega building their first blockchain game in Oasys
Oasys was delighted to announce that they had been selected as the blockchain for SEGA’s first blockchain game, Sangokushi Taisen.
The digital collectible card game Sangokushi Taisen, that is to be developed by jump.tokyo, is a SEGA-licensed franchise that has gained enormous popularity in Asia as a strategy arcade game.
Hironobu Ueno, CEO of jump.tokyo, stated that they are excited to be working with a pioneering partner in developing a new generation of games in the Blockchain. They wish to create more market-leading games on such a cutting-edge platform.
NFT Games to keep an eye on
Panzerdogs
Within the Solana Network lies a unique multiplayer fast-paced action packed tank game with dogs!
Panzerdogs features multiplayer fights, customisable tanks, and reward incentives for all users, whether they are playing for free or have an NFT avatar (rewards may vary). With its pixelated and charming graphics that are reminiscent of games many of us used to play, topped with various strategic abilities, and forthcoming PVP, this is definitely a game worth noting.
The team makes frequent announcements on twitter. They seem to often use Twitter spaces, share leaks and updates, and tweet for fun, which is a wonderful indication that they enjoy what they’re creating. We’re excited to see where this game goes.
Axie Infinity Builders Program
Axie Infinity, one of the most popular blockchain-based games to date, offers fearsome and adorable creatures that battle, build, and more. Sky Mavis allows users to create community-created games and experiences through their Builders Program.
This week, a number of games from the Builders Program have made their presence known. Axie Blitz, Defenders of Lunacia Land, TactiCards, and more names are examples. All of which are distinct in their own right and have independent founders from the Axie community.
As these games are independent, they each have their own social media pages, so be sure to check up on them if they pique your interest. Definitely drop by Axie Infinity’s twitter for any updates that are around their ecosystem.
Meme of the Week
Both have their costs, but the risks and returns are significantly different. 😳
